These invisible, touchable screens create stunning three-dimensional illusions with no visible frame or surface, perfect for immersive installations, product launches, theatrical effects, and interactive experiences.

How it works

Hermetic Productions’ Fog Screens operate by generating a thin, stable vertical curtain of ultra-fine water droplets (typically 1–10 microns) using high-frequency ultrasonic transducers or precision atomizing nozzles. Specialized airflow systems create a laminar curtain that keeps the mist dense yet nearly invisible to the naked eye, forming a translucent projection surface suspended in mid-air.

High-lumen projectors paired with custom projection mapping software then cast images onto this floating screen, where the microscopic droplets scatter the light to produce crisp, vibrant visuals that appear to float ethereally in three-dimensional space. Because the screen has no physical substrate, content can be viewed from multiple angles with a natural sense of depth and volume.

Our in-house synchronized control systems precisely manage fog density, airflow, and media timing, allowing seamless transitions, interactive triggers, and reliable performance even in varied environmental conditions.
